The Dell Mini 10 HD netbook was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show last month and there has been no further news about it so far. Now we have speculations running wild based on an supposedly leaked presentation slide of the Dell Mini 10. According to this slide the new Dell Mini 10 will offer 1.3 & 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Silverthorne Processor, 120GB & 160 GB HDD, up to 2 GB DDR2 533MHz memory, 3 USB, HDMI, 5-in-1 and 2 headphone ports, and a 1.3 mega pixel camera. There is an option for a 3 cell battery with 4 hours run time or a 6 cell battery with 8 hours of run time, WiFi g/n, Bluetooth, WWAN and optional internal GPS connectivity and internal TV tuner.
The Dell Mini 10 will of course have a 10.1-inch screen, and has a 16:9 WSVGA 1024x576 display or you can opt for a 720p HD display (1366x768). According to the slide, the Dell Mini 10 will have a super thin design (just 21 mm) weighing only 1.3kg with edge-to-edge display. It also sports a touchpad with multi-touch gestures and promises to give a full-sized keyboard experience. The Mini 10 is targeted to be the vacation/coffee shop companion for the youth and comes in an array of colors. Of course with the above said features its perfect for just that.
